Highbridge
fashion show attracts big crowds of bargain hunters
Hundreds
of bargain-hunters filled King Alfred School's Main Hall in Highbridge
on Tuesday evening (February 5th) when a special fashion show
and sale was held.
Almost
200 ladies flocked to the event, which was organised by Burnham
Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs, with proceeds going to local charities.
"It's
the first time we've held a show like this and it's been incredibly
successful," said a Rotary Club spokesman.
"The
ladies were able to buy high street clothes from well-known brands
such as M&S, Next, Wallis and BHS at low prices while enjoying
a relaxed glass of wine or other refreshments."
