Burnham-On-Sea
fire crew called to Highbridge vehicle fire
This
was the scene in the centre of Highbridge on Wednesday morning
(July 9th) when a Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to a vehicle
fire.
One
fire engine rushed to Coronation Road, besides Church Street,
at 8.20am after a Citroen C5 was reported to be smoking outside
the Jade Garden takeaway.
Fire
spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The vehicle
was seen smoking and on arrival the fire crew removed a door panel
of the car."
"The
cause is believed to have been a short circuit in an electronic
window winder."
