Police
appeal for help in catching Burnham-On-Sea graffiti vandals

A
wave of graffiti has been scrawled across house walls and garage
doors in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea over the last few days,
prompting an appeal by local police to track the vandals.
Slogans
including 'BNP' and 'Put the Great Back in Britain' have been
daubed with paint across walls, post boxes and even garage doors
in the town centre, as pictured here.
Burnham police are monitoring the situation and have appealed
for help in catching the culprits.
Sgt
Ian Kennett from Burnham-On-Sea police said at this week's Burnham
Chamber of Trade meeting: "Behaviour like this is not tolerable."
"We
want to stamp it out as soon as possible and would urge anyone
with information to pass it on to us so we can follow it up."
Anyone
with information should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
