Worthy
causes benefit from annual Burnham-On-Sea hospital fete
Traditional
fairgound games and stalls were among the many attractions which
attracted large crowds to Burnham-On-Sea's annual hospital fete
on Bank Holiday Monday (August 25th).
Hundreds
of holidaymakers and residents crowded into the town's Manor Gardens
in glorious sunshine to support a range of local charities and
groups.
Stalls,
displays, games, raffles and refreshments were on offer from a
wide range of local organisations who included Burnham Lions,
Rotary Club, WI, Coastguards, RNLI, BARB, Burnham Diabetes Group
and the Burnham Lodge of Moose International.
The
annual fete is organised by the town's League Of Friends and raises
a large amount each year. Organisers thanked all those who had
attended for their support.
