New
information panels introduced across Burnham-On-Sea

A
series of new information panels are being installed around Burnham-On-Sea
this week to help visitors find their way around the town.
The
panels feature a street map of Burnham illustrated with images
of key landmarks such as churches and public gardens.
They
have been funded by the Burnham and Highbridge Regeneration Partnership,
which is planning to hold an official unveiling of the boards
next week with Chairman Rosemary Parsons and Mayor Peter Clayton.
The
artwork for the panels has been painted by Burnham-On-Sea artist
Judith Champion (pictured), who is well-known for her local art
and illustrations of the town centre. [Click

The
first panels have been installed in Burnham's Oxford Street Car
Park and Pier Street, with others planned for Burnham Library,
the Tourist Information Centre and High Street.
