BBC's
John Inverdale will be the VIP guest at fundraising quiz evening
BBC
television and radio presenter John Inverdale will be the VIP
guest at a fundraising quiz evening near Burnham-On-Sea next month.
John,
who recently led the BBC's television coverage of the Beijing
Olympics, will be the guest at a special 'quizzical evening' in
Mark on Friday October 10th.
The
event, which is being organised by Mark Community Association,
will be held in the village hall.
John
is a familiar voice on BBC Radio 5 Live and fronts the BBC's coverage
of Six Nations rugby on BBC1 and is also about to travel to America
to present Radio 5's coverage of the Ryder Cup. He is the brother
of one of the members of the Mark Community Association.
A
limited number of tickets are available at a cost of £20

when traditional Scottish music group Schoca will be performing
