Busy
school holiday activities lined up at Highbridge sports centre
A
busy fortnight of activities has been lined up at Highbridge's
King Alfred Sports Centre during the school holidays from April
7th-18th.
The
centre has organised a wide range of activities to keep youngsters
aged between 5-14 busy and entertained during the holidays. A
full schedule is available here.
"With
a huge range of games and activities on offer every day, we guarantee
fun and enjoyment for everyone in a safe and welcoming environment,"
said Duty Manager Graham Furze. "Our sessions offer excellent
value for money and flexibility."
The
'early risers' session from 8.30am-10am offers supervised free
play in the centre's TV lounge and games rooms. Designed as an
introduction to the day's events, this session offers snooker,
table tennis, table football, computer games, role play toys,
art and crafts, board games, darts, construction, plus staff-led
competitions.
The
'active kidz' sessions between 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm provide action-packed
activities from start to finish. Planned activities for this session
are listed on the attached schedule and include sports and craft-making.
'Film
Fun' from 4pm-5.30pm is designed as a wind-down to an action-packed
day and gives youngsters the opportunity to watch a film of their
choosing in the comfort of the centre's TV lounge. Other quieter,
relaxed games and activities are also offered as an alternative.
