Kite
buggy racer suffers head injuries in accident on Brean beach
A
kite buggying enthusiast suffered head injuries after an accident
on Brean beach at the weekend.
An
ambulance was called to the beach at lunchtime on Sunday (November
23rd) after a strong gust of wind lifted the man, then sent him
down onto the hard sand.
Melodie
Juste, spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"We were called to an accident on the beach at 12.50pm on
Sunday in which a male in his 30s suffered a head injury. He was
taken to Weston General Hospital as a precaution."
One
eyewitness at the scene told Burnham-On-Sea.com the man had been
fortunate to suffer "relatively minor" injuries and
that he was making a good recovery.
