Man
attacked and robbed after leaving Burnham seafront nightclub
Police
have appealed for information following a robbery in Burnham-On-Sea
in the early hours of Sunday (October 19th).
The
incident occurred at 2.45am when a 27 year old male was walking
home from an seafront club. He used a footpath from Love Lane,
opposite Tesco, towards Cunningham Road.
He
was approached by two males who punched him in the face several
times, causing him to fall onto the floor where he was repeatedly
kicked.
They
demanded he hand over his wallet containing bank cards and cash.
He sustained bruising and cuts to his face and body.
The
officer in charge of the case, DC Rachel Pople, has issued good
descriptions of the two suspects.
"The
first is a white male of medium build who in his early 20s and
has a height of 5ft 8in - 6ft. He was wearing a long-sleeved white
hooded top and dark jeans."
"The
second was a white male of medium build, who was also in his early
20s, and was 5ft 8in tall, wearing a dark top and dark jeans."
