Burnham-On-Sea police
probe accident after car is abandoned

Police
in Burnham-On-Sea are appealing for witnesses after a stolen car
crashed into a fence and was then left abandoned in the early
hours of Sunday (April 13th).
Local
residents reported the incident to police after finding a fence
at the entrance to the town's Manor Gardens had been damaged,
as pictured here.
Police
issued an appeal for witnesses on Monday morning and spokesman
Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A black Ford Ka was
found in Manor Gardens on Sunday morning shortly before 10am.
It had been involved in a road traffic collision and was damaged.
The vehicle had been reported stolen to police."
"Police
are keen to hear from any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle
being driven around the Burnham-On-Sea area between 11.30pm on
Saturday night and 3.30am on Sunday morning."
