Seafront shelters in Burnham-On-Sea have again been attacked by vandals for the second time in a month.
This was the scene that greeted shocked seafront walkers on Monday (January 28th) after vandals caused more damage over the weekend.
The windows of one of the shelters were smashed and shards of glass strewn over the wooden benches.
It comes just weeks after Burnham-On-Sea.com reported a similar vandalism attack when the chain fences were pulled down and broken bottles left over the floor.
Sedgemoor District Council hopes to regenerate the gardens later this year if it is successful in gaining £250,000 of lottery funding.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported last October how the modernisation of the gardens had edged a step closer when hundreds of residents supported the project in a council survey.
