Burnham-On-Sea Mayor hands out Civic Service funds to good causes

Two worthy causes were presented with hundreds of pounds by Burnham-On-Sea's Mayor on Monday evening (October 6th).

Cllr Peter Burridge-Clayton handed over the proceeds of a collection at the town's recent Civic Service, held in St Andrew's Church, to Weston Hospice Care and St Margaret's Hospice.

"Each group received £194.28, which was half of the funds collected at the Civic Service," the Mayor told Burnham-On-Sea.com. "Both groups are my nominated charities for this year."
