Burnham and Highbridge’s Mayor is set to marry his fiancé in a ceremony in Bridgwater later this week.
Cllr Peter Clayton and Jo Burridge, pictured, will tie the knot in a ceremony in Bridgwater on Saturday (August 23rd).
The couple’s special day will also include a blessing service at Highbridge’s St John Church later on Saturday afternoon.
The Mayor’s Chaplain, Christine Judson, is Curate of St John’s Church in Highbridge.
Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported the couple’s announcement of their engagement in May when Peter was elected by fellow councillors to become Mayor of the two towns.
