New-look Burnham church opens after £200,000
redevelopment

A
£200,000 project to renovate a Burnham-On-Sea church came
to a successful end on Sunday (December 7th) with the official
opening of the building.
A
brand new entrance has been built at the eastern end of Burnham
Methodist Church in College Street, and dozens of guests attended
a ceremony to see it opened.
Burnham's
Mayor Peter Burridge-Clayton and Mayoress Jo were among the special
guests at the unveiling of a plaque in the church's foyer.
The
opening and dedication of the new entrance was led by preacher
Reverend Robin Hutt.
A
church spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Our main aim was
to create a more welcoming environment and a functional suite
of premises able to develop our role as a Church."
