Police
search for missing five-year-old boy at Brean
Burnham-On-Sea
police launched a major search on Wednesday afternoon (July 23rd)
after a young child was reported to be missing from a Brean holiday
camp.
The
five-year-old boy went missing from Unity Farm caravan park at
lunchtime, prompting a full-scale police search which included
the force's helicopter, pictured right.
Police
spokesman Clare Giordmaine told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A five
year-old child went missing from Unity Farm caravan park and a
big search was launched. Fortunately,
he was found safe and well by police one hour after going missing."
The
child is understood to have been found near the CostCutter shop
in Brean and was reunited with his very relieved family.
"We
always take missing incidents involving missing children very
seriously and act very quickly," added the spokeswoman.
