Burnham-On-Sea MP visits newly-refurbished Royal British Legion HQ

Burnham-On-Sea's MP visited the newly-refurbished headquarters of the town's Royal British Legion on Saturday morning (June 7th).

David Heathcoat-Amory met members of the group at their new-look Victoria Street premises, which have recently undergone a major revamp.

The work included new ceilings, floors, wiring and the repainting of walls as part of a modernisation programme.

Mr Heathcoat-Amory told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's splendid that something as traditional as the Royal British Legion is modernising like this. I have been very impressed by the new-look premises, which I'm sure will continue to be well supported by the Burnham community."
