New Italian restaurant opens in Burnham-On-Sea

A new Italian restaurant has defied the financial gloom by opening its doors to the public in Burnham-On-Sea this weekend.

Bonomo restaurant has started trading at 30-32 Adam Street, and says its authentic Italian cuisine is already proving popular with diners.

Owner Pierfrancesco Bonomo (pictured) told Burnham-On-Sea.com the restaurant has had a good reception from vistors.

"We've already had lots of interest and a steady flow of customers," he said. "There's been a good response."

He added: "I am concerned about the current worldwide financial problems, but am confident that Burnham needs an Italian restaurant and that we will succeed."
