Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club to hold exhibition this weekend

Photographers from across the Burnham-On-Sea area will be holding an exhibition of their best shots this Sunday (December 14th).

Burnham Camera Club members, some of whom are pictured here, are inviting the public and fellow photography enthusiasts to the Burnham Area Youth Centre in Cassis Close from 11am-4.30pm.

"Visitors to the event will be able view images from local photographers with a wide variety of skills and different areas of expertise," a club spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The event will also include a demonstration of professional portrait photography in the youth centre’s training room, where visitors will be able to have quality photos taken of themselves in studio lighting conditions, and then take away a sample image for a nominal pound.

Based at the BAY Centre, the club was set up in January 2008 as a friendly group that seeks to improve photographic skills using both digital and film and all sorts of cameras.

All enthusiasts are welcome to the group's regular Thursday night meetings, which include competitions, workshops and visits by guest speakers.
