Burnham-On-Sea poet donates
books to air ambulance charity
A
talented member of Burnham-On-Sea Moose International Lodge 123
has presented two hundred specially-published books of his poetry
to Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Priced at £3 each, Bill Jackman's books will help raise
funds for the charity. The publishing was sponsored jointly by
the Burnham, Weston and Winscombe lodges, and the presentation
took place at a specially arranged dinner for members of those
lodges at Mooseheart in Winscombe.
Nicola
Hawkins of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance said: "We are
grateful for all the support for Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The charity saves lives through the generosity of people like
Bill, and everyone else who supports them."
