Police
arrest man after Burnham shop windows smashed
A
man has been arrested in Burnham-On-Sea this week following a
street brawl that left a shop facing hundreds of pounds of repairs.
Police
officers were called to the High Street at 6.35pm on Monday (April
7th) amid reports of a fight.
They
found hundreds of pounds worth of damage had been left at Burnham
Shopping Centre when two of its main windows were broken.
Managers
of the store were contacted and the windows were boarded up, as

Police
spokesman Wayne Baker confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Police
consulted with CCTV operators and an 18 year old man who is local
was arrested and taken to Bridgwater Police station."
"The
man was later given a formal caution for a public order offence
and possession of Cannabis."
