Over
one thousand Queen fans descended on Brean at the weekend for
the 23rd annual Queen Fan Club Convention.
The
three-day event, held at Pontins holiday camp, attracted fans
from as far away as America and Australia.
Sheila
Synnott, one of the event's organisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The weekend was a great opportunity for Queen fans from
all over the world to meet, talk about Queen and catch up with
old friends."
The
weekend's programme included live bands, discos and guest speakers.
As well as being a fun event, the convention also raised money
for charity through collections, sales and auctions.
