Highbridge residents remember the town's war dead

Dozens of Highbridge residents turned out to remember the town's war dead during annual Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday (November 9th).

A procession from the Bank Street car park to the town's war memorial was held, following by a wreath laying ceremony and the playing of the Last Post.

Reverend Christine Judson, Curate of St John's Church, led the service, which was attended by Highbridge Mayor Peter Burridge-Clayton, Mayoress Jo Burridge-Clayton and other civic dignitaries.

A service was also held in Burnham-On-Sea earlier in the day, attended by MP David Heathcoat-Amory.
