Burnham-On-Sea fire crews
rush to camper
van blaze at M5
services
Two
fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to Sedgemoor Services on
the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday afternoon (August
30th) after a camper van fire.
Burnham
fire brigade, along with a gas
detection monitor from Bridgwater,
were
sent to the northbound services at 3.17pm after reports of a camper
van fire in the car park.
"On
arrival at the scene the crews confirmed there had been a fire
in the engine compartment of the camper van. This had been extinguished
with a dry powder extinguisher by AA staff prior to the arrival
of the brigade. The crews made the vehicle safe then left the
vehicle in the hands of the AA," a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
