Burnham greetings card shop staff have fingers crossed for win

A Burnham-On-Sea greetings card shop has been selected as one of the finalists in an annual competition to find the UK's best independent card shops.

Sentiments, based on Burnham High Street, has been chosen as one of the five finalists for the RETAS awards, which shine the spotlight on the South West's top independent card shops.

Staff from the Burnham store will be travelling to London's Dorchester Hotel on July 8th when the overall winner will be announced at a special awards ceremony.

Tim Potts, shop manager, told "We are all very pleased to have been nominated as a finalist in our category."

"A few of us will be going to the Dorchester in the hope of receiving the award and have our fingers crossed that we'll win!"

The ceremony is a glitzy event attended by crowds of bosses from the retail industry. The awards give recognition to the UK’s best greeting card retailers across the UK.
