Burnham-On-Sea
town centre shop struck by vandals
Vandals
have left the owner of this shop in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea
with a repair bill of hundreds of pounds.
A
large pane of glass at clothing repair shop Sew and Sew in Cross
Street was smashed this week, leaving owner Jennifer Mitchell
to board it up, as pictured.
She
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's come as a shock - the damage
is costing us £400 to repair, half of which is not covered
by insurance. When
you're a small business, unexpected costs like this come as a
setback."
The
window was repaired over the weekend.
