Lease
of Burnham-On-Sea night club is up for sale

The
lease of Burnham-On-Sea's Shakers Night Club has been put up on
sale at £55,000 for three years by its owners.
The
club and bar on the High Street (pictured) has been closed for
several months and has undergone a substantial refurbishment.
Saxons
estate agents in Burnham is dealing with the sale and manager
Nick Puddy said: "This building offers a great chance for
someone to take on the lease for a minimum of three years. The
person would be able to run a business from the building but would
not own it themselves."
Inside
there is a large bar, with two seating areas, a main dance floor,
plus further raised seating, a lounge, a DJ corner, office and
cloakrooms, while downstairs there are toilets, a store room,
cellar and fire escape.
The
club controversially won a bid to introduce lap dancing in 2006,
but never actually held any displays.
