Burnham-On-Sea
firms hold annual shop window competition
 Over
30 Burnham-On-Sea town centre businesses are taking part in a
'spot the odd item in the shop window' competition during April.
The
competition, being run by Burnham-On-Sea Chamber Of Trade &
Commerce, will involve items that firms do not sell being put
into their windows and the public will be invited to find as many
of the odd items as possible.
The
event runs from from Saturday 5th April to Saturday 19th April
and entry will be free, with first prize being £100 cash.
A £50 cash prize will be given to the second-placed entrant.
The money has been donated by GH Tyres, and there are also shopping
voucher prizes for the runners-up.

forms are available online here
and from Burnham Tourist Information Centre, participating businesses,
local schools and holiday parks.
Chairman
Alex Turco said: "So that shoppers can find out about the
wide range of shops in the town, we have designed this competition
to test their observational skills. We very much hope that this
free, fun activity will attract more people into the town centre
to enter this contest."
Among
the businesses taking part this year is Burnham-On-Sea.com, which
will have an item hidden on its front page!
