Burnham-On-Sea loses one town centre shop as new businesses open

Rosemary's Florist's Tina Holdsworth Burnham-On-Sea has lost one of its shops, but gained several new businesses during the latest round of town centre changes.

Mobile phone shop Phone Tek-Nation in Cross Street shut its doors for the final time last week after struggling in recent weeks.

But several new businesses have launched in recent weeks, with Rosemary's Florist opening in Regent Street.

Owner Tina Holdsworth, pictured, says business is already brisk. "We've had a busy first few days and will have an official opening by Burnham's Mayor later in the month," she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The New Year has also seen a new firm of chartered accountants, Kemp Hall, opening in nearby Victoria Street. A new beauty salon, American Nail Bar, opened its doors in Regent Street in December.
