Fire
crews called to early morning blaze in Highbridge
Fire
crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to a Highbridge home during the
early hours of Tuesday morning (February 19th) after a blaze broke
out.
The
crews were called to the fire at River Bed House in Sparks Way
at 3.29am.
Two
fire appliances were mobilised from Burnham and on arrival they
found the building had been evacuated.
"After
investigations, the crew confirmed the fire had been extinguished
by the occupier prior to their arrival," said fire spokesman
Paul Slavin. "The cause of the fire was a chopping board
being left next to an unattended cooker."
