Burnham-On-Sea street party will benefit town's carnival club

Burnham-On-Sea High Street will be closed to traffic on Sunday evening (August 24th) when a town centre pub holds one of its popular outdoor street parties.

A huge lorry will stretch across the street to become a stage for live musicians outside the Somerset and Dorset pub, as pictured here at a previous event.

The event, which will run from 4-10pm, will raise money towards Highbridge's Hillview Carnival Club and will include live music, a disco, barbecue, tombola, raffle and more.

Mark Bishop of Hillview Carnival Club told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It promises to be a great evening of family entertainment, that will also raise much-needed funds for Hillview."
