Burnham's
Tourist Information Centre praised in Mystery Shopper report
The
high quality of customer service at Burnham-On-Sea's Tourist Information
Centre has been praised in a new report out this week.
The
centre on Burnham's Esplanade has received excellent results in
the annual 'Mystery Shopper' test operated by the regional tourist
board.
The
mystery shopper campaign consists of three components, emails,
telephone calls and personal visits.
Burnham
received a score of 100% for the staff's handling of personal
visit enquiries, and its handling of email was also praised, with
the centre getting high marks ranging from 88% to 94%.
Cindy
Tee, who works at the centre in Burnham, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"This is the eighth year in a row that our centre has scored
so highly in a nationally assessed mystery shopper."
"I
am not aware of any other centres with such a consistent record
anywhere in the country, it is easy to take it for granted and
forget what a tremendous achievement it is for the staff involved,
so I want to say thank you to all of the staff who have contributed."
The
Tourist Information Centre is run by Sedgemoor District Council.
