seize counterfeit goods in Highbridge

Burnham-On-Sea
police and Trading Standards bosses have this week seized thousands
of pounds worth of counterfeit goods in Highbridge.
Police
took away a large quantity of counterfeit clothes that had been
on sale at Highbridge Market, as shown in these exclusive photos.
The
teams swooped on a stall at the weekly market and confiscated
material with a street value of several thousand pounds.
Janet
Hookings, spokesperson for Somerset County Council's Trading Standards
Department, confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Trading Standards
seized a quantity of goods at Highbridge market and investigations
are continuing."
Last
year, Trading Standards swooped on a car boot sale outside on
the outskirts of Burnham when they seized counterfeit DVDs and
CDs.
