Police appeal after Highbridge take-away struck by vandals

Police have appealed for witnesses after a vandalism incident in Highbridge left a shopfront damaged.

It comes after a fish and chip take-away in the town centre had a large pane of glass smashed in an overnight attack late on Friday night and into Saturday (November 29th).

Yeung's Fish Bar in Market Street had its front window broken when a large object was thrown through it, as pictured here.

Anyone eyewitnesses with information should contact police via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

It comes just days after Burnham-On-Sea.com was first to report break-ins at Highbridge Childrens Centre and King Alfred School.
