Mobile phone firm wins approval to boost signals in Burnham-On-Sea

Mobile phone signals in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea are set to be boosted after district council planners approved proposals to introduce several new antennas in the town.

Mobile phone company Vodafone last month applied for planning permission to attach three new antennas to an existing phone mast in Dunstan Road.

Sedgemoor District Council has now approved the three antennas, which will be attached to the 13.65m tall existing mast. They will be used to offer fast 3G mobile phone coverage across Burnham.
