Brrr-nham-On-Sea
shivers in sub-zero wintry weather
 These
were the wintry scenes at Highbridge's Apex Wildlife Park on Thursday
morning (December 11th) as sub-zero temperatures left the Burnham-On-Sea
area shivering.
Overnight,
temperatures in the town sank to a low of -6°c, leaving Apex
Park's lakes partially frozen over and making the going difficult
for these gulls as they slid their way across a thick layer of
ice.
