Dozens
of athletes take part in 5km Burnham seafront race
 Dozens
of runners from across the South West took part in a 5km race
on Burnham-On-Sea seafront on Thursday evening (June 4th).
The
event, organised by Burnham Swim and Sports Academy and backed
by Burnham Harriers Running Club, attracted over 40 entrants.
First
home in a fast time of 17 minutes and 11 seconds was Bath's Tim
Edwards (pictured right) with Exeter Harriers' Brian Charters
in second place in a time of 18 minutes and two seconds.
Further
seafront runs are also planned as part of a summer series of races
on the first Thursdays of July and August.
