Motorist
hurt in Christmas Eve accident on A38
in Highbridge
 One
person was taken to hospital following an accident on the outskirts
of Highbridge on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24th).
Police
were called to a two car collision on the A38 at 8pm, as pictured,
near the entrance to the Lakeside housing development.
A
BMW was in collision with another vehicle and a lamp post, sending
debris across the road.
A
Burnham-On-Sea ambulance crew attended the scene and one casualty
was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police
told Burnham-On-Sea.com the road was partially closed to traffic
while emergency services were at the scene.
