Rush-hour accident shuts A38 at Burnham-On-Sea

The
A38 on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea was closed to all traffic
this evening (Tuesday April 28th) after a two-vehicle accident.
Police
and paramedics were called to the junction with Burnham Moor Lane,
as pictured here, at 5.20pm following the rush hour collision.
Two
cars suffered front and side damage, and the occupants were treated
for shock at the scene by an ambulance crew from Burnham.
The
accident at Edithmead led to delays for traffic coming off the
M5 motorway at junction 22 and also caused queues for speedway
fans going into the Oaktree Arena just a few hundred metres away.
