Two
accidents cause delays for rush hour traffic in Burnham area

Rush
hour commuters in the Burnham-On-Sea area suffered delays on Friday
evening (February 13th) after two separate road accidents.
Burnham-On-Sea
police were called to the A38 at East Brent, as pictured, after
an accident partially the route both ways at 5.30pm.
A
car lost control, hit a sign, and ended up in a ditch.
Emergency
services were quickly on the scene, and the driver was lucky to
escape without injuries.
In
a second separate accident, police were called to Ham Road at
Brean after a car left the road and ended up in a ditch. The accident
led to the cross-country route being closed. Traffic was diverted
along Red Road into Brean.
