Burnham
charity receives £610 from Somerset Motorcycle Group

A
group of Somerset motorcycling enthusiasts who have held a series
of fundraising bike rides across the county have this week handed
over the proceeds to a Burnham-On-Sea charity.
The
Somerset Motorcycle Group raised £610 for BARB, the charity
that operates Burnham's two rescue hovercrafts.
The group's members handed over their bumper cheque to grateful
crewmembers from BARB at Highbridge's Bristol Bridge Inn, as pictured
here.
It
comes after several fundraising bike runs were held during the
summer and autumn where members rode across the region and finished
on Burnham seafront.
Somerset
Motorcycle Group's Norman Templeman said: "Our members have
enjoyed taking part in several bike runs this year and are delighted
to be able to hand over this sum to BARB."
