Berrow
beach warden injured by passing vehicle
Police
from Burnham-On-Sea were called to Berrow on Saturday afternoon
(May 30th) after a beach warden was run over by a passing car.
An ambulance and police officers were called to the beach parking
area at 1pm, as pictured here, after the driver allegedly failed
to stop to pay a parking attendant and then drove over the warden's
foot.
Police spokeswoman Cath Foster confimed to Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"A car was involved in a collision with one of the beach
wardens. He did not suffer serious injuries and was treated by
paramedics at the scene."
She added: "No-one was arrested and the matter is now being
dealt with as a civil issue between the two parties."
