Berrow village hall extension project wins go-ahead from council

-

District council planners have this week given the go-ahead for the extension of Berrow’s Village Hall.

Berrow Community Association, which oversees the building in Parsonage Road, had applied for full planning permission to develop the property.

Its application for the construction of a new extension to the south and east elevations, plus a new entrance lobby and internal alterations, was granted permission by Sedgemoor District Council’s planning department.

Berrow Community Association has raised thousands of pounds towards the extension project in recent months with fundraising events including the Berrow May Fayre and the recent Berrow Gig On The Green.
