Fundraising
bikers roar into action for Burnham-On-Sea charity
Over
30 bikers took part in a fundraising ride for a Burnham-based
charity at the weekend - the second in the last fortnight.
 A
convoy of bikers from the Somerset Motorcycle Group roared off
from the Bristol Bridge Inn in Highbridge for the 50-mile bike
run, which finished on Burnham seafront.
The
event, organised by Somerset Motorcycle Group, raised funds for
Burnham-On-Sea rescue charity BARB.
Organiser
Norman Templeman said: "The event was a great success and
everyone enjoyed themselves. We were lucky to have a good day
of weather and hope to have raised a decent sum for BARB."
A
cheque presentation will be held next month when the final amount
will be handed over. A separate, 100-mile bike ride was also held
by the same group on September
20th.
