Bike owners warned by police after thefts in Burnham-On-Sea

Bike owners in Burnham-On-Sea have been targeted with several thefts in the town this week.

A BMX bike was stolen from a youngster in Burnham Road. It was left unlocked for several minutes and when its owner returned, it had gone.

It is described as being distinctive, with blue with blue and pink tyres and “X-Rated ” written on the frame.

A quad bike was also stolen from a farm in North Burnham on Monday (December 28th) between 6pm and 11.30pm.

Anyone with information should contact Burnham Police. Police have warned that keep bikes securely locked when not in use.
