Deceased man named by police
after discovery of body in Highbridge
The
identity of a man who was found dead in a Highbridge property
last week was revealed by police on Friday (March 6th).
Burnham-On-Sea.com was first
to report how a Highbridge man had been arrested on suspicion
of manslaughter after police made the grizzly discovery of a body
at a home in the town centre last Friday.
Police
were called to an address in Market Street at 4.45pm on February
27th following a report of a sudden death.
The
dead man was named on Friday afternoon (March 6th) as Andrew Ford,
44, from Bristol.
Police
spokesman Martin Dunscombe told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Investigations
are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death."
Burnham-On-Sea.com
reported earlier in the week how a 43 year-old man had been arrested
in connection with the incident on suspicion of manslaughter and
being connected with the supply of heroin. He was later released
on bail pending further investigations."
