£1.5m revamp for Brean golf
course and holiday park
An
extended golf course is one of the many improvements being made
to a holiday park in Brean, which has invested £1.5m into
upgrades.
Holiday Resort Unity and Brean Leisure Park have been undertaking
a major upgrade programme in recent months, which includes a £600k
upgrade of its accommodation.
"Four
new holes will open at the park's golf course and this will include
the longest hole in Somerset at 600 yards," spokeswoman Claire
Wall told Burnham-On-Sea.com. "Also in July, a new nine hole
pitch and putt course will open."
Later
in the year the centre intends to start a multi-million pound
refurbishment of its swimming pool complex.
The
centre has also created brand new 'luxury' accommodation. "Our
new holiday accommodation includes two new lodges overlooking
the beach with hot tubs, where you can see the Millennium Stadium
in Cardiff and Exmoor," added Claire.
