Members of Highbridge’s Dreamscheme youth group will be helping wash cars when the town’s fire brigade hold their annual charity car wash this Saturday (19th September).

The youngsters will be working alongside the fire team and inviting the community to Burnham Fire Station between 10am and 2pm to get their vehicles cleaned.

Highbridge’s Dreamscheme was set up by the Children and Young Persons Sub-Committee of the Local Action Team for Highbridge, alongside Highbridge Police. It involves young people aged 8-16 taking part in community work (such as litter picks) in return for points that can be used towards day trips and other activities.
