Regeneration will be hot topic at Burnham Chamber of Trade meeting

-

The future of Burnham-On-Sea’s regeneration plans will be debated at a public meeting in the town on Wednesday evening (July 29th).

The Chamber of Trade has invited a representative from the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) to explain its recent decision not to give Burnham £750,000 of funding for the re-development of the town centre.

Doug Bamsey and Nicola Slawski from Sedgemoor District Council will also be on hand to answer questions about the future of regeneration in Burnham.

The meeting will be held at 6pm in the Town Council Chambers in Jaycroft Road and will be open to the public.

Graham Cook, organiser of Burnham’s annual FolkFest, will also talk about the plans for this year’s autumn festival.
