Ian told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a great day and we are really appreciative of the support from the NFU and Enmore Park Golf Club in our aim to assist Coastguards in times of distress, injury or severe hardship.”

Burnham Coastguard Association financially helped local Coastguard Andy Rout to visit his daughter, Abby, in hospital almost 100 miles from home after she was left paralysed from the head down by a rare illness. Abby was struck down by the sudden spinal condition transverse myelitis and is now recovering.
