Burnham-On-Sea
Coastguard Association has received a financial boost following
a fundraising golf day and auction.
NFU
Bridgwater and Enmore Park Golf Club held a charity golf day in
aid of the Burnham Branch of the Coastguard Association.
Eighteen holes of golf was followed by lunch, a raffle and and
an auction - raising £441 for the group.

Eileen Binding of Enmore Park Golf Club, Paul Ashton of Greenslade
Taylor Hunt Auctioneers and Ian Jefferies of Burnham CGA.
Ian told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a great day and we are
really appreciative of the support from the NFU and Enmore Park
Golf Club in our aim to assist Coastguards in times of distress,
injury or severe hardship."
Burnham
Coastguard Association financially helped local Coastguard Andy
Rout to visit his daughter, Abby, in hospital almost 100 miles
from home after she was left paralysed from the head down by a
rare illness. Abby was struck down by the sudden spinal condition
transverse myelitis and is now recovering.
