Continental market will return to Burnham-On-Sea seafront next week

-

A six-day continental market is set to return to Burnham-On-Sea next week.

Stalls will be set-up along The Esaplanade from Tuesday 11th August until Sunday 16th August.

They will be offering many continental products, including crepes, breads, cheese, paella, olives, fruits, sweets, jewellery, handbags, belts, Brittany biscuits, sausages, jams and pickles.

“The market will offer a variety of continental goods, together with the tempting smells and lively banter that makes shopping an attractive experience and will be situated along the Esplanade just to the south of the BARB rescue centre,” Tim Mander of Sedgemoor District Council told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The market’s final day, Sunday August 16th, coincides with Burnham’s annual ESCAPE Day, when local emergency services will hold demonstrations and displays along the town’s seafront. Organisers have held discussions to ensure both can go ahead.
